Let’s talk Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, is it worth it? and which location?

Let’s talk Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Is it worth the price? What’s included? and which location is best?

I have taken both of my girls to BBB. I took my oldest when she was almost 3, and my middle child when she was almost 4. Great ages in my opinion for BBB. That Disney Magic I am always talking about is at an all time high for little girls in that 2 to 6 years old age at BBB. Both times we did the same package. We went with the Crown Package, which happens to be the cheapest package at $64.95. This package includes hair styling, make up, face gems, nail polish, princess sash, and princess cinch backpack. We arrived already wearing our little girls chosen princess dress from home, and opted out of buying one at the Disney Store, or purchasing a package that included one. If you guys know me you know I do Disney on a budget! Here you can find the other BBB packages that go all the way up to $450.00.

We were more than happy with the value of the $64.95 crown package, and would definitely recommend it to anyone with little girls. They even have packages for little boys, but I don’t currently have any experience with that package just yet. There are two locations at Walt Disney World for Bibbidi Bobbidi, one is inside Magic Kingdom at Cinderellas Castle, and the other is inside the Disney Store at Disney Springs. We chose the Disney Springs location both times. While Cinderellas castle might sound like the perfect place to experience BBB, for us when we are in Magic Kingdom it is our park day. BBB easily takes up 1 hour if not closer to 2 hours, and then your little girl is decked out in hair, makeup, a dress, a crown, and in our case little princess heeled shoes. This is just not practical for a day walking around Magic Kingdom. So our preference is to visit Disney Springs BBB on 1 of our off park days, and after her appointment we walk around Disney Springs, and enjoy dinner somewhere while she enjoys showing off her new princess makeover.

We typically don’t do a lot of the Disney add on experiences like this, and remain on a pretty strict budget. This has allowed us the ability to visit Disney several times over the years. But BBB is definitely worth every penny if you’re looking for somewhere to splurge. Keep in mind this is a reservation experience, and it is very popular. Book your appointment well in advance. But if you’re just discovering BBB, and find it all booked up, don’t get completely discouraged. Cancellations do happen, and I highly recommend you keep trying everyday and you will probably find an opening if you’re flexible. If you find the only opening at Magic Kingdoms location on your park day, I still suggest doing it, but I would bring your little one some clothes to change into once they start to get uncomfortable.

BBB has given me some amazing memories with my girls each time they have sat in the magical chair. The ladies at the salon make it a very magical experience. The Disney Store itself at Disney Springs is a thing to be seen. Although be prepared the BBB is located in the back of the store, and yes you will have to walk past all those toys and goodies, that your child most certainly will want, in order to get to the salon.
